Vannessa Plaza is a Chicana artist based in Stockton, California. Growing up, several of her artworks were heavily inspired by animated television series such as Sailor Moon and InuYasha. Art has always been seen as a hobby to Vannessa until she attended a few art classes in community college; since then, Vannessa has majored in art and received her BFA in Animation/Illustration from San Jose State University. Vannessa has expanded her skillset by taking courses in printmaking, photography, and graphic design.
